That’ll do it for the 2024 Colorado Rockies season. The final record was better than the 2023 team, but not by much. A 61-101 record marks the second straight season of 100+ losses in Colorado. That wasn’t the only thing lost though. Rockies legend Charlie Blackmon called it a career after 14 seasons. After playing over 1,600 regular season games and five postseason games, he can finally retire and enjoy more time with his wife Ashley, and their two kids Josie and Wyatt. Rockies Now and 5280 Media would like to congratulate Blackmon on a wonderful career, filled with LoDo magic and plenty of moments for the fans. Forever a Rockie, Chuck Nazty!
